Sister from Another Planet Scores 1st Place in the Visitor Category At July 4th Parade in Webster Groves.Webster Groves
--- Thanks to royal friends and family, Sister from Another Planet (SFAP)
made a colorful splash at the July 4th Webster Groves Parade and took 1st
prize in the Visitor category. Nineteen coronated SFAP marchers celebrated the birthday of America in earthly fashion as the Queen Mother in her rolling throne made her debut as star of our unit. Junior Sisters and Misters from Another Planet dispensed candy peace offerings to the crowd, while both junior and senior alien members dazzled spectators with their spinning planet wands and 10 lb. replica of another planet, representing home. The troop was delighted to spot earthlings in the crowd who sported official Sister from Another Planet noggin toppers that rated 11s on a 10 point scale for sizzle, fun and spirit! These exceptional humans gleamed from the sidelines like words in an Evelyn Woods Reading Dynamics commercial! Outstanding show! The weather was hot but the parade was cool, said Planeteer Pingel. So after distributing thousands of edible flying saucers, planetary bubble gum, Saturn ring candies and some earthling favorites, we orbited over to the Queen Mothers Palace for an afternoon of celebration! Look for Sister from Another Planet at the Greentree Festival Parade in Kirkwood on September 9. And remember, anyone wearing a Sister from Another Imperial Party Crown in the crowd will win an instant fabulous prize! And dont forget: We Come in Pieces! |
