Crowning Moment By Thaddeus O’Donnell

January 20, 2000 --- Every so often an idea comes along so obvious and creative that you ask, “Why didn’t I think of that?” The ladies at “Sister from Another Planet” have come up with something phenomenal that you can check out January 22 at the Borders Books and Music in Creve Coeur.

We all want to be royalty deep down inside. We all want to find something that makes us stand out in a crowd. I do.

That is why I wear my hair long and have a goatee. “Sister from Another Planet” has just the thing to make you and your kids stand out in a crowd: a crown.

That’s right, a personalized, hand-decorated crown that you create and then wear with reckless abandon. On Saturday, January 22nd, at the Borders Books and Music in Creve Coeur, you can see this fantastic creative kit in action.

Bring your kids, of course, but bring yourself as well, because it is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. While the session is recommended for kids 10 and over, just about anyone can participate.

Bring cut out photos of your favorite person, yourself included, or have a theme in mind that you wish to base your crown on. The possibilities are limitless. Beginning a 2 p.m. the creative process begins.

It will be a lot of fun. Reservations are required and space is limited so call (314) 432-4326 and make your reservation today.
